MX-1500 Process

The MX-1500 process accepts pumpable wastes via an in-line particle shredder. Wastes are heated to approximately 180 degrees F. in a mixing/heating tank. These liquids are subsequently metered into the SAREX MX-1500 Centrifuge System. Through 3-phase, chemically enhanced centrifugation, wastes are separated into 3 phases: oil, water, and solids. With a nominal throughput capacity of 16 tons per hour, it is designed to generate these following effluents and associated characteristics:

Recovered Oil

Recovered Water

Dewatered Solids

MX-2000 Process

The MX-2000 system is utilized for the purpose of (1) further reducing the waste volume through water and light oil removal / recovery and (2) the removal of Benzene and subsequent de-characterization of the hazardous waste listing. The MX-2000 Low temperature Thermal Processor (MX-2000) is a natural gas fired, 6 million BTU/hr, thermal desorption system. The system utilizes non-contacting, hollow screw, indirect thermal treatment technology in order to heat wastes from ambient temperatures up to a maximum temperature of 600 degrees F. Through the use of indirect heat and an inert / non-oxidizing processing environment, wastes are heated so as to vaporize and subsequently condense the wastes¹ water and light oil fractions. With a nominal throughput capacity of 5 tons per hour, the system is designed to generate the effluents with the following effluents and associated characteristics:

Recovered Oil

Recovered Water

Treated Solids
